Singaraja, November 4, 2024 – A public lecture and collaboration event between the Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK) Undiksha and Padma Hotel was successfully held. This event took place on the 2nd Floor of the GSC Building, Jinengdalem Campus, and was attended by first, third, and fifth-semester students from the Sport Sciences and Sport Training Education programs within the Department of Sports Science and Health. The event was also attended by Vice Dean I (Dr. I Gede Suwiwa, S.Pd., M.Pd.), Vice Dean II (Dr. Gede Doddy Tisna, M.S., S.Or., M.Or.), and other department leaders.
The primary objective of the event was to promote Padma Hotel and its facilities while offering employment opportunities to FOK students. Padma Hotel aims to invite students to join the hospitality or tourism industries, leveraging their knowledge of sports science in the development of Sport Tourism.
This program is expected to broaden FOK students’ career prospects, enabling them to engage in the workforce with a wider range of opportunities. It emphasizes not only careers in sports but also the application of their expertise in the hospitality and tourism industries through the integration of sports and tourism.
