Bali – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) warmly welcomed students from the State University of Semarang (UNNES) who participated in the 2024 Sport Student Exchange (SSE) program.
This program aimed to strengthen collaboration between the two universities in developing sports achievements while enhancing academic and cultural experiences for the participants.
Three students from the Physical. Health, and Recreation Education Program (PJKR) at UNNES, Gamaliel Rangga Pamungkas, Hikari Faza Rafiki, and Irsyad Maulana, were accepted to join the SSE at Undiksha’s Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK) from August 15 to 30, 2024. During their exchange, they engaged in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities, including sepak takraw, futsal, yoga, small ball games, and entrepreneurship and traditional sports. Lectures and workshops: sport psychology, sport management, sport entrepreneurship and education strategy. Practical teaching: microteaching sessions. Additionally, they actively participated in student organizations (UKM) activities, contributed to the FOK Celebration, and joined the orientation program for new students. One of the participants, Hikari Faza Rafiki, expressed gratitude for the program, stating, “This opportunity broadens our knowledge, strengthens our experiences, and enriches our academic portfolios.”
The Study Program Coordinator at Undiksha, I Komang Sukarata Adnyana, S.Pd., M.Pd., praised the SSE program, noting that “it’s excellent, although there are areas that need improvement and refinement.”
Through initiatives like this, both universities reaffirm their commitment to enhancing the quality of higher education in Indonesia. It is hoped that this program will inspire other students to actively participate, develop their skills, and achieve even greater accomplishments in the future.
